Hi! So recently having been moved to the fish department, I found out that when fish arrive to the store, the owners have allowed bags to float in tanks for 3 or more hours after arrival. Seeing as i have worked in another pet store before this one, we opened bags within a half hour. Seems to me this long wait is not good for fish that have already been traveling in those bags overnight, and they should be acclimated sooner than that.
